Bar Giorgio

Just like the espresso bars you find tucked away in every corner of Italy, Bar Giorgio is a space for quick stops, slow mornings, and spontaneous conversations over perfectly pulled coffee.

Maritozzo pastry filled with Chantilly cream, topped with a diagonal dusting of powdered sugar. Served on a simple white plate, set against a yellow table background.
Espresso and Maritozzi

Step up to the bar. Whether it’s a strong caffè ristretto to start your day, an afternoon macchiato, or a crisp cocktail before dinner, Bar Giorgio is open from morning through to the early evening, following gallery opening hours.

There’s no table service – and that’s just how it should be. This is coffee standing up or sitting down with quick chats with the barista, a moment of pause before heading back into the city. Like the best bars in Milan, Bologna or Palermo, it’s about rhythm, ritual, and real coffee.

Three small round brioche buns, each filled with slices of salmon, cream cheese, and fresh chives, arranged on a white plate. The plate is set on a yellow table, photographed from above.
What We Serve

Espresso classics – from cappuccino to caffè corretto

Fresh maritozzi – baked each morning

Pinsa – our Roman-style cloud‑light dough, fermented slowly for flavour and crunch.

Aperitivo – Italian spritzes, vermouths, bitters and Franciacorta

Our coffee is sourced from Koffe who understand balance, bitterness, and body – just how Giorgio likes it.
