What to Expect
Led by James White, Italian Wine Brand Ambassador for Berkmann Wine Cellars, this intimate tasting (limited to just 24 guests) will explore Italy’s rich winemaking heritage and talk all things sparkling. James will share the stories, traditions, and tasting notes behind each pour, bringing Italy’s vineyards to life.
Your tasting journey includes:
Cuvée Prestige Ed. 45, Ca’ del Bosco
A benchmark Franciacorta crafted using the méthode traditionelle, this elegant cuvée offers fine, persistent bubbles with notes of ripe orchard fruit, citrus blossom, and a delicate brioche complexity. Smooth, refined, and beautifully balanced—an icon of Italian sparkling wine.
Canevel Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG Extra Dry
From the steep hills of Valdobbiadene, this DOCG Prosecco delivers vibrant freshness. Expect aromas of white peach, acacia, and crisp green apple, lifted by a gentle sweetness and a soft, velvety mousse.
Marchese Antinori Donna Cora Satèn Franciacorta
A luxurious Satèn style Franciacorta—creamy, silky, and subtly complex. With notes of pear, almond, and citrus cream, this elegant sparkling wine showcases the finesse of Chardonnay from one of Italy’s most historic wine families.
Prosecco Rosé, Serena 1881
Fresh, fruity, and irresistibly aromatic, this Prosecco Rosé blends Glera and Pinot Noir for a vibrant expression of summer berries, rose petals, and a crisp, refreshing finish. A joyful and contemporary take on Italy’s favourite sparkling wine.
Moscato d’Asti, Prunotto
Lightly sparkling and naturally sweet, this Moscato d’Asti charms with aromas of honeyed peach, orange blossom, and fresh apricot. Low in alcohol and beautifully fragrant, it’s a quintessential Piedmontese delight.
