We are delighted to share that Giorgio Locatelli has been announced as the newest judge on Celebrity MasterChef UK, returning to screens on Tuesday 18th August.

Joining acclaimed food writer and broadcaster Grace Dent, Giorgio will bring a wealth of culinary expertise, a deep passion for Italian cuisine, and his trademark warmth and charisma to one of Britain’s most-loved food programmes.

The Vision Behind the Kitchen

At the helm of Osteria Locatelli is Giorgio Locatelli, one of the UK’s most respected Italian chefs. Before opening here, Giorgio spent more than two decades at Locanda Locatelli, his Michelin-starred restaurant in Marylebone. He has since become a familiar face on television as a judge on Celebrity MasterChef Italia in 2019, while also earning acclaim as the author of bestselling books including Made in Italy and Made in Sicily.

That same instinct for honest, regional Italian cooking now finds an unexpected yet fitting home inside one of the world’s great art museums: a pairing that few restaurants in London can offer.
